Watermelon Festival News 2018

The Grand Bay Watermelon Festival gate opens at 3:00 p.m. on July 3rd and closes at 7:00 p.m.  There is no charge for admission on the 3rd but the watermelons will be chilling and won’t be cold yet so we will not have the free sliced ice cold watermelon until the 4th.  The food, arts & crafts, and ride vendors will be open, as well as music entertainment from our Gazebo.

July 4th the Festival gate re-opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 4 p.m.  The admission on the July 4th is only $5 per vehicle, no matter how many people are in the vehicle!  Walk-ins will also be charged an admission fee individually.  In addition to everything available on the 3rd, the 4th will include the Pretty Baby Contest, Open Car Show, games, contests, and all the free, sliced, ice cold watermelon you can eat.  So come spend both days with us at our hometown Grand Bay Watermelon Festival.  You’ll be glad you did!  Since the Grand Bay Watermelon Festival is a Family Event no smoking will be allowed inside the Festival area and no pets are allowed.

Want more Attendance – Advertise Free Wi-Fi.

The Wireless Center is a small business located in Gautier, MS and are local & nationwide dealers for Satellite TV, Internet , Wi-Fi, Security/Home Automation. We are authorized dealers for HughesNet, Exede, DirecTV, Dish NetWork, Fire Ant TV, Vivint and CISCO.

We are working members of Gautier Pride which sets up the Gautier Music & Mullet Fest. We also set-up a double booth in the middle and provide free Wi-Fi for everyone As a courtesy, the booth fees are waived as a result.

We attend just a few selected events; Gulfport Muscic Fest, Richton MS Pecan Festival, and the Jackson County MS Industial Trade Show (sponsored by The JC Chamber of Commerce). We would like to include your festival and the Pecan Festival in Tillman’s Corner and provide free wi-fi for everyone while we are there.

Are you allowed to bring dogs to the festival?

    • Patty Tripp says:

No, because there will be children there who could be afraid of dogs so we prefer no dogs at the Festival unless they can be hand carried and must be cleaned up after.

  5. Caisy says:
